Who will actually pick up my items?
Our owner, , does. Lake Haven is owner-operated, so the person you talk to on the phone is the person who picks up, transports and hands off your items. They're never passed to a stranger or a subcontractor.
Do you handle medical records and imaging, or just specimens?
Both. Along with lab specimens and prescriptions, we carry charts, films, imaging discs, legal documents and supplies, sealed and signed for at each handoff.
How do you keep specimens at the right temperature?
Refrigerated items travel in insulated coolers with cold packs, and frozen items with frozen packs. Specimens are never left unattended in the vehicle.
Can you set up a daily lab run?
Yes. Scheduled routes are the most affordable option. Tell us your pickup time and lab, and we'll quote a weekly or monthly rate.
How do I know it was delivered?
You get a text or email with the delivery time and the name of who signed for it.
Will you sign our Business Associate Agreement?
Yes. We're happy to review and sign your BAA and provide the documentation your compliance team needs.
How do I set up an account?
Call, email or send a quote request. We'll stop by your office to go over pickup times and destinations, review your BAA, and set up billing. Most offices are ready to go within a day or two.
How does billing work?
One-time runs are invoiced after delivery. Routes are billed weekly or monthly. We provide a W-9 and insurance details when we set up your account.
